Haiku Novels?

Haiku Novels?

Haiku feels like a natural form to me.  I want to encapsulate the world in seventeen syllables, distilling infinite existence into a dram.  Which makes it difficult to be a novelist.  Why not just tell my entire story in one haiku?  (Or my two stories in two haiku.)

Mystery/Thriller

too many victims

predator’s wet dumping ground–

finally gets caught

Urban Fantasy

girl loses it all

must solve problems of others–

the lost don’t return

There!  All done.
